KARIC held its 9th Higher Education System Online Seminar with Nepal on Monday, 8 December 2025.
For this session, we invited Mr. Baikuntha Prasad Aryal, Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Nepal, to present an overview of Nepal’s higher education system, admission requirements, National Qualifications Framework (NQF), the current status and issues related to the NOC, and the procedures and standards for recognizing foreign academic degrees.
Following the previous session featuring Vietnam, this seminar on Nepal also served as a meaningful opportunity to enhance understanding of qualification recognition and to promote information exchange between countries.
